Sub-forum: Main SWM
The river has its origin in Carleton County, at Miramichi Lake. Its two branches join near the village of Juniper, NB. Flowing initially southeast is joined by the Taxis River and the Cains River and begins to flows northeast to the bay.

Sub-forum: Renous
The Renous River is a tributary of the Southwest Miramichi River. Its starts south of Holmes Lake in the Miramichi Highlands. It has 2 branchs, north and south. The Renous river joins the Southwest Miramichi River at the village of Quarryville.

It is 113 kilometres long starting in the "Bantalor Game Refuge" in the eastern part of York County to were it joins the Southwest Miramichi River at the community of Howard.

The Dungarvon River is a tributary of the Renous River. The Dungarvon River has its origins at several lakes in the Miramichi Highlands. Generally flowing southeast, the Dungarvon River joins the Renous River at Grainfield.

The Northwest Miramichi River has its origins near Big Bald Mountain. Initially flowing east, the river turns south at the confluence of the Tomogonops River and Portage River. It continues south to Sunny Corner where it becomes tidal, and then flows east. The Northwest Miramichi River joins the Southwest Miramichi River at "Newcastle". Sections of the this river are currently C&R only.

The Savogle has 2 branchs the North Sevogle and South Sevogle Rivers.The river starts in the Big Bald Mountain flows southeast through heavy forests before joining the Northwest Miramichi River at Big Hole Tract.

The Bartibog River is a tributary of the Miramichi River in New Brunswick, Canada. The Bartibog River rises in northeastern Northumberland County and flows east and south into the Miramichi River at the community of Bartibog Bridge.

The Bartholomew River begins in the hills between the Main Southwest Miramichi and Dungarvon Rivers. It has 2 branches, the north and south and empties into the southwest Miramichi at Blackville.
