Just wondering if there's any nice spots to tent, shore side, around Juniper. If anyone wouldn't mind sharing, it would be greatly appreciated.   Doesn't have to be on the MSW... any flow of water to put me to sleep!  Cheers!

I have seen people camp at the Dungeon before but it wouldn't be the best camp site ever.  There is also room to camp at Half Moon or Deersdale, but again, not ideal.

If you ran the river in a canoe, there are some really nice sandy bars between Juniper and the Forks where you could camp that would be really nice, but you cant drive to them or even 4 wheeler.  I have done this trip before.  All open water, and few people bother to fish up there.  Juniper is hit or miss though based on water level, but there are many un-named deep pools on that stretch.  I caught my first MSW salmon up there above Governors Table camps.

Thanks Korlando!!   Just getting back from a three day weekend at the Juniper lodge.  Chose to stay there and do some scouting.  Found some beautiful places to camp for our next adventure up that way.  PM me if you care to know where they're at.

I really enjoyed your youtube video of the salmon hooked on a bomber.  Awesome!

Fishing was really slow over the weekend up there... no fish hooked. Saw one Salmon and two grilse.  No tugs.  All in due time I guess.

Cheers!

We were charged 85$ per night, with no extra fees. This is the normal rate, but he didn't charge us any extras. I think it was because he's in his off-season right now. We were the only group at the lodge the entire weekend.
