I am usually alrdy on the river but life just keeps getting busy-er. Just curious if anyone has been out.im usually tenting on the renous but venture on nw lsw dungarvan. Wondering if anyone still salmon fish as its been pretty quiet n if anyone has any reports. On another note does anyone have a working link to the counters or is the gov'ts redirect links just crapy as usual. This. Year should be the  returning. Year from 2014 what are the thoughts on what kinda year it will be. Im in riverview to btw n most my fishing buddies are no longer with us, if need or want someone to share gas for day trip I can be rdy to go in like 5 mins lol

We just returned from fishing the Renous and LSW. Three of us go up every year at this time. We saw two fish and fortunately they were both on the line. Two grilse in three days and seven pools. No sign of any significant run and they weren't getting much if anything at Quarryville ( we don't fish there). We saw one guy fishing, Jim Lorentz. Water temp, level and weather was perfect, just missing the fish!

I fished Quarryville Friday morning and caught two large fish. One was 27 and the other 33. (:322. Three more were caught while I was there. I also seen at least a dozen jumping.

I fished there again this morning with 10 other guys. Only 3 hooked. Two before 7:30 am and 1 around 10:00 AM. I only seen 6 other fish and they were larger showing there backs in and out of the water  around the lower where the Renous splits.
The main run of grilse hasn't come through yet. Perhaps neare the full moon.
