This guy hand crafts tough reels. I'd like this to be my next reel; no more delicate little poofy reels lol.

Yep fine reels for sure and bullet proof for sure. I had one for awhile but the weight and noise got old after awhile and I went to the delicate little poofy reels. lol I think I would get one again but it would not be my everyday go to reel.

What size did you have Chris? I like the indestructable part; I had a Hardy Ultralite DD 4000 that I just sold because it was too delicate. A very beautiful reel, like a fine piece of jewllery but just a slight drop onto a rock will BEND the rim.



Here's what I mean; I think the ding is clear enough

I had the 4" scandi reel. I have been looking at an ultra light myself in 7000 or 8000 size for a rod purchase shortly after xmas.
